Pair Vintage Copper ship Lanterns -

Pair of large Vintage mid 20th century Copper PORT and STARBOARD ship lanterns SEA HORSE brand with original burners. Red and Green filters inside lanterns can be removed (they slide out) Revealing clear glass outer lense,fantastic for terrace lanterns if you want to you can slide the burners out and place candles or tea lights inside,or use the burners as they are. Copper has been cleaned. These lanterns came from a ship called the SS May 3 which served as lightship in the north Scottish sea. (lightships took the place of a light house where the water was to deep or unsuitable for lighthouse construction) Each lantern measures 700mm High x 400mm wide x 360mm deep
